Suddenly, after years of usage, Alexa stops playing music from Spotify.
Strange, but ok. a simple case of resetting the setup? No..
Trying to disable the Spotify skill and re-enable again, but the skill page doesn’t let you enable the skill and has this message about restricting the skill geographically.
After trying to change versions of the Alexa app, changing locations for all the devices and such, what finally solved the issue was:
Changing my Amazon’s account Country/Region setting to United States (https://www.amazon.com/hz/mycd/myx#/home/settings/payment):
